MoreFloyd 6th Aug 2019		CD Album D-A-D - No Fuel Left For The Pilgrims	Have requested the date for this one be changed to November 1989, as all images are of the Cat# "105210-2" CD. I don't know if the sticker for Cat# "D 30175" was just an interim arrangement until new CD's and labels were made or not. Have added image of the original rear of inlay showing barcode. The original Australian release of this Cd (Cat# 105210-2, Barcode: 9399310521024) was released November 1989 (Distributed by CBS) according to "Platterlog" issued 27/11/1989. 2nd release (Cat# D 30175, Barcode: 9399310521024) was released May 1990 after all "Liberation Records" product was transferred from "CBS" to "Festival" distribution, "Platterlog" issue dated 14/05/1990. 3rd release (Cat# D 19803, Barcode: 9399310521024) was released July 1993 (still being distributed by "Festival", but now falling into their mid-price range), "Platterlog" issue dated 19/07/1993 (See comments Here).

MoreFloyd 19th Jul 2019		CD Album Jane's Addiction - Nothing's Shocking	Unfortunately the perimeter text that runs from approx. 9 through to 3 o'clock on the cd image shows as a thick black line. Text reads: "ALL RIGHTS OF THE MANUFACTURER AND OF THE OWNER OF THE RECORDED WORK RESERVED. UNAUTHORIZED COPYING, HIRING, LENDING, PUBLIC PERFORMANCE BROADCASTING OF THIS DISC PROHIBITED MANUFACTURED AND DISTRIBUTED BY WARNER MUSIC AUSTRALASIA" I suspect this is an early 90's release, with pre-90's pressings coming from Germany for distribution in Australia. Cd image "1998727": On disc face: Digital Audio Technologies Australia [logo] Matrix: 925727-2 RSA Mould SID Code: IFPI 2661

MoreFloyd 30th Jun 2019		CD Album Clannad - Legend	Hi Whassup, Found this listed as a new release in the "03-07-1989" edition of "Platterlog". Don't know if that makes the actual release date sometime in June or July (If PhilMH is out there he might share his thoughts). Either way 1989 would be a far more likely date for this Australian release. Both LP (SPLP 1119) and Cassette (SPCK 1119) are also listed as new releases on the same date.

I purchased my copy in January 2001 though I suspect this is a mid to late nineties release. Mould SID code: ifpi 2661, no Mastering SID code. Matrix: 2 40022 SRC-01

MoreFloyd 29th Mar 2019		Cassette Album Jimi Hendrix - Cornerstones 1967-1970	I think this one should be made "International". I have the Australian (manufactured, printed, marketed etc...) version of this, same Cat#, Barcode, artwork and track listing. Looking through "Discogs" LP, Cass and CD entries it appears to have been released almost everywhere (UK, Finland, Greece, Brazil, Australia, India (No Barcode), Netherlands, Austria etc...) with the same respective Cat#'s & Barcodes (interchange of 1, 2 or 4) for their respective formats. If there are no objections I will request to have it changed.

Harvey of The Rockats. They do mostly covers of classic tracks from the 50's & 60's. As of 2017, former Morbid Angel member David Vincent took Lemmy's place as vocalist and bassist.

WEA releases, pressed in Europe. Geffen Records sold by Warner to MCA Music Entertainment in 1990. Platterlog entry dated 28/01/1991 shows distribution on LP, Cass and CD by BMG. "Disctronics B" becomes "PMI" in December 1995. "SMEA" active from February 1995 - 2005. Universal Music Australia active from 1998. ARIA "Labelling Code Of Practise" introduces blue & white (Level 2) warning sticker in April 2003. WEA releases 1987- 1990 pressed by "Record Service GmbH, Alsdorf" (Germany), different Cat# & Barcode. BMG releases Jan/1991 - Dec/1995 pressed by "Disctronics B" same Cat# & Barcode as CD above. Black & White "Parental Advisory Explicit Lyrics" sticker on jewel case (American style). BMG releases Feb/1995 - 1998 pressed by DADC (SMEA) same Cat# & Barcode as CD above. Black text on White "WARNING: This recording contains explicit language." sticker on jewel case. BMG releases 1998 - 2003 pressed by DADC (SMEA) same Cat# & Barcode as CD above. Black text on White "WARNING: This recording contains explicit language." sticker on jewel case. Marketed in Australasia by Universal Music Australia. BMG releases 2003 - 2004 pressed by DADC (SMEA) same Cat# & Barcode as CD above. Blue text on White "WARNING STRONG impact coarse language and/or themes." sticker on jewel case. Marketed in Australasia by Universal Music Australia. If there are no issues with the above, I will add a date of 1991.

A look through the Australian Ebay listings show "Disctronics B" pressings with the same Cat#, Barcode, artwork, tracks etc... which would give a date pre December, 1995. Entered the Australian charts 18/09/1988.

Just to clarify, LP, 60345-1 & Cass. 60345-4 were released 02 June, 1986 in Australia (according to Discogs) which matches your theory of an early June release as stated. This release, although carrying the same Cat#, is slightly different as it has the additional barcode and extra track which I think would mean a separate entry to the 1986 version above. We've narrowed it a little more at the least, 1990-2004.

The best I can come up with for a release date is 1989 (Elektra Records became Elektra Entertainment) through to January 2004 (Date I purchased it). There are no composer credits listed on this release.
