mystere 25th Sep 2016		Vinyl Album Gilbert O'Sullivan - Himself	The likely reason why it says 1972 on the cover release date would be the fact that it probably was released in the USA during the early part of 1972 before the reissue of the album with Alone Again (Naturally) being added to replace a track in the album. The inside says 1971 to show the international copyright date from its European releases. Some European releases of his following new album Back To Front have Alone Again (Naturally) included in the release.

mystere 9th Sep 2016		Reel-to-Reel The Kinks - Kinda Kinks	Sometimes, tapes are wound "tails out" to reduce magnetic bleed through. Tails out means the end of the tape is out, requiring one to rewind the tape before playing the side. "Bleed through" is an echo you can often hear in a silent section of a recording, caused by the tape getting magnetized by another section of the tape. It happens often to analog tapes being stored for a long time without being played or periodically being rewound to break up the magnetic field. It's good to rewind tapes about once a month if possible.

mystere 31st Mar 2015		Vinyl Album The Human League - Fascination!	Fascination! has 2 covers available: The original gray cover and a black cover. They use the same artwork and typeset on both covers. The black cover came out within a few weeks from the initial release. Also, A&M Records made some mistakes in the dates some tracks came out on Virgin Records. They wrote that Mirror Man and You Remind Me Of Gold came out in 1981 and Hard Times came out in 1982. The Virgin Records pressings from England have Hard Times as the B side of Love Action which came out in 1981, while Mirror Man and You Remind Me Of Gold were released in 1982. A&M never corrected that mistake on their labels, and carried that mistake over to their 45 release of Mirror Man in September 1983.
