Bah. Obviously all gigs after this one are now cancelled, moved or otherwise rearranged but I'll leave them in place until I can find out what's happening with each of them.

By the looks of it it's within the Active+ complex which is a kids play place and indoor sports centre. I assume they've given the bar a makeover or something.

This is an astonishing album from an incredibly talented folk musician - think Joni Mitchell, Laura Marling, Bert Jansch and you're not far off. Available via Bandcamp (also on CD / digital).

Beautiful, beautiful music. Mac Quayle's unsettling electronic pieces add a darkness to the beauty of Gustavo Santaolalla's finger-picked string compositions. Turn the lights down, close your eyes, and just enjoy it - it's absolutely brilliant.

But hey, doesn't really matter. Top quality compilation either way.
