Plaatjesman 8th Nov 2013		Vinyl Album Joe Jackson - Live 1980/86	Uploaded clearer images of the cover. Also uploaded scans of the inner sleeves. There are also other European editions from the UK, Spain, Yugoslavia and Greece (I still need some time to scan these LPs). So "Europe" is not really covering it. Germany might not be 'wrong', but I think there is also a possibility this might be Dutch. I was hoping for some extra background information, because the scans will not provide the answer.
Plaatjesman 8th Nov 2013		Vinyl Album Joe Jackson - Live 1980/86	I can't find "Printed in West-Germany". Not on the record-sleeve, inner-sleeves or on the labels. Though, it is not unlikely that it is from Germany, BIEM/STEMRA suggests that it could also have been printed in Holland. Anybody any ideas ..............

Written, orchestrated and produced by Joe Jackson. Conducted by George Manahan. Track A3: "Will Power" was originally written as "Overture For Two Pianos" for Katia and Marielle Labeque. Track B2: "Symphony In One Movement" is a rewritten version of the orchestral score commissioned by the Daei Corporation for the film "Shijin No Ie" ("House Of The Poet") which was shown at the EXPO '85 Science Exhibition in Tsukuba, Japan. This is probably the sub-label contractor of this record. It's the only 'Big World'-edition (that I know of) that comes in a fold-out sleeve!

Plaatjesman 31st Oct 2013		Vinyl Album Joe Jackson - Body And Soul	I have a copy of this Spanish Body and Soul from 1985! It has the same catalogue number, the same labels and the same front cover (however, the 1985 edition seems to have brighter/original colors). The back cover seems the same, except for the bottom lines. My 1985 edition has 3 extra lines, where the 2nd line ends with (1985). Also there is a 3rd line saying "fotomecanica CORACOLOR, S.A. - Madrid". I think the 1987 edition has only 2 extra lines and ends with - 1987 Also the 1985 edition has an inner sleeve with translations of the backsleeve text in Italian, German and French. Probably the 1985 edition is the original Spanish release and the 1987 edition is the cheaper 'Special Price' release.
