Sinkronizer 12th Mar 2017 | | CD AlbumBilly Joel - Greatest Hits Volume 1 & Volume II | uploaded original CBS cover and discs, 28 page booklet remains the same.
Sinkronizer 12th Jan 2017 | | CD AlbumBon Jovi - Bon Jovi | Was there a non barcoded version of this as July '84 is probably a little early for barcodes on CD's.
Sinkronizer 8th Dec 2016 | | 12" SinglePet Shop Boys With Dusty Springfield - What Have I Done To Deserve This (Disco Mix) | This was imported to the UK, hence the importation licensed stamp,
subject to the terms and conditions of the joint MCPS/BPI import licence agreement.
Sinkronizer 17th Nov 2016 | | Vinyl AlbumVarious Artists - Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls | The Garrod & Lofthouse printing code shows 7101 (January 1971) so May 1970 must be too early for UK release.
Sinkronizer 31st Oct 2016 | | CD AlbumVarious Artists - Born To Be Wild | This front cover picture and layout was previously used for the album "Born To Be Wild - 18 Rock Classics" which had entirely different artists and track list, it was released in 1992 by "Music Collection Int." cat.# MUSCD 001.
Sinkronizer 31st Oct 2016 | | CD AlbumMichael Jackson - Off The Wall | According to Wikipedia the company name "Sony Music Entertainment" was established 1st January 1991, so image 1084917 can not precede that date, prior to 1991 the CBS logo was used.
The terms "Sony Music Entertainment" and "Sony Music Entertainment, Inc." are a little less clear, from what I can make out at Wikipedia the later was used from 1st October 2008 but according to Discogs the later was used from 1991-2004.
The company names were broken up between 2004-2008 when it was in partnership with BMG and known as "Sony BMG Music Entertainment"
My copy of this has cat.# CDEPC 83468, ℗ 1979 CBS Inc." and comes in a red tray.

Sinkronizer 21st Sep 2016 | | CD AlbumMeat Loaf And Bonnie Tyler - Heaven And Hell | This is pretty much a reissue of the 1989 album "Bonnie + Meatloaf - Heaven And Hell" released by Telstar TCD 2361, though this has different artwork, different running order and two of the tracks by Meat Loaf "Modern Girl" and "Rock 'N' Roll Mercenaries" featuring John Parr replaced here with "If You Really Want To" and "Heaven Can Wait".
Sinkronizer 4th Sep 2016 | | Vinyl AlbumWillie Nelson - A Horse Called Music | This should likely be Europe as my copy bought from new in the UK states "Made in Holland" on the outer ring of the labels.
Sinkronizer 1st Sep 2016 | | CD AlbumGladys Knight And The Pips - The Singles Album | Added an original disc pressing by PDO UK which unfortunately suffers from "disc bronzing" fatigue.
Sinkronizer 25th Aug 2016 | | Vinyl AlbumVarious Artists - Street Sounds Edition 9 | This was already in the database, checkout the Street Sounds label page.

Sinkronizer 19th Jul 2016 | | Vinyl AlbumThe 4 Seasons - Edizione D'Oro (Gold Edition) | A link to some info on this album http://thatfourseasonssound.typepad.com/seasonally/2011/06/edizione-doro-1968-ed-almost-the-ultimate-four-seasons-hits-album.html
Sinkronizer 21st Jun 2016 | | CD AlbumBilly Joel - Greatest Hits Volume 1 & Volume II | Original copies of this were pre barcode era, I believe the red banded discs with barcoded tray insert are from the "Nice Price" period/series.
Sinkronizer 3rd Jun 2016 | | Vinyl AlbumGlen Campbell - Glen Campbell's Greatest Hits | Add label variations from the copy I bought 17th Feb. '72, the back cover is otherwise identical to 480031 including the Garrod & Lofthouse printing code "7111" for Nov. '71, except mine omits the * for six of the tracks and the words "By kind permission of Ember Records".
Sinkronizer 2nd Jun 2016 | | Vinyl AlbumDel Amitri - Waking Hours | First released July 1989, the 1990 reissue same cat.# but with a different cover charted from February that year.
Sinkronizer 2nd Jun 2016 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Beatles Featuring Tony Sheridan - The Early Years | Mono recordings electronically reprocessed, I have had so many albums with this and normally they sound awful, particularly when listening with headphones, basically consisting of bass in one channel, treble in the other and perhaps some slight offset to make each channel seem separated. however this album (and I refer to the 1st issue) I find it hard to believe that these tracks (with the exception of Cry For A Shadow) are not actually stereo, I have never heard any other reprocessed tracks sounding like these with such separation and clarity. Now I know from days gone by that if you crossed the polarities of the speaker wires on many of the early Beatles tracks the vocals would virtually disappear into the background but you could not make the vocals stand out and the instrumentals disappear which would have obviously made it easy to separate them between each channel. If these were mono recordings they sound truly outstanding on this album.
Sinkronizer 2nd Jun 2016 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Beatles - Help! | Its odd that the Garrod & Lofthouse printing code on the back (as is on my copy too) is 6509 i.e. September '65, considering it was initially released in August was this an error on GL's part?
Sinkronizer 1st Jun 2016 | | Vinyl AlbumPatsy Cline - Volume 2 | Formerly released on Allegro 862.
Sinkronizer 1st Jun 2016 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Drifters - The Drifters' Golden Hits | This is a reissue, the original 1968 release was Atlantic 588103.
Sinkronizer 1st Jun 2016 | | Vinyl AlbumLionel Richie - Can't Slow Down | This is identical to the German entry, Perhaps this should be Europe.
Sinkronizer 27th May 2016 | | 12" SingleUB40 - So Here I Am | I weighed this at 154g (without sleeve), so this would be classed as heavyweight vinyl compared to the standard 110/120g and therefore more durable.
Sinkronizer 27th May 2016 | | 12" SingleRose Royce - R.R. Express | A-side is a 7:48 sec. special edited version from their Jump Street album K 56958,
B-side is 5:55 and ℗ 1979 whereas the B-side of the 7" K 17875 is ℗ 1981.
This 12" also has the bracketed catalogue number K 26200.
Sinkronizer 27th May 2016 | | 12" SinglePrince And The Revolution - Kiss (Extended Version) | Was also available in the UK as an import, shrink-rapped with MCPS/BPI import licence stamp attached.
Sinkronizer 27th May 2016 | | 12" SinglePet Shop Boys - Always On My Mind (Remix) | My copy of this has the writing on the front in slightly different colours to this, whereas here they look black and dark blue, my copy is more of a purple and light blue.
Sinkronizer 25th May 2016 | | 12" SingleLa Famille Featuring Caron (Of Brown Sugar) And Hazel - All Night Long | Originally issued as a 7" on the PRT label catalogue 7P 284 with no mention of Caron or Hazel, this is possibly a remix with new vocals.
Sinkronizer 25th May 2016 | | 12" SingleFreddie McGregor - Just Don't Want To Be Lonely | The black/yellow label B-side DGT 25B and the black label B-side DGT 24B are either different instrumental versions of the A-side or a typo error.
There are two versions of the 7" DG 24 of which one of the B-sides is by Germain All Stars and titled Revolution or Revolutionary Rock.
Sinkronizer 25th May 2016 | | 12" SingleFrankie Goes To Hollywood - Two Tribes (Carnage) | The tracks on the B-side are listed in the wrong order on the label & sleeve,
the spoken dialog "One February Friday" comes between "War" & "Two Tribes"
and is actually track two.
