SteveG11 8th Aug 2020 | | CD AlbumUB40 - UB40 Present The Fathers Of Reggae | ReviewThis is a very clever concept, UB40 re-recorded their own songs with some of their musical heroes. It really works, and is easily UB40's best album since the 1980's

SteveG11 16th Jul 2020 | | CD AlbumThe Specials - 30th Anniversary Tour | If I remember correctly, this came out sometime between their gig @ Brixton Academy on 12/05/09 and the November Tour on the back. So I reckon July 2009 could be correct.

SteveG11 25th Jun 2020 | | Vinyl AlbumIan Prowse - The Story Of Ian Prowse | ReviewIt's been a long time since I bought music on vinyl, but seeing how good it looked, when Ian was plugging it on his brilliant Lock-down shows on Facebook*, I clicked the link and took the plunge. I own a lot of records, but can safely say that this is the best presented album that I have ever seen. It is almost a work of art, well impressed, and that's before it hit the turntable, this man has some brilliant songs, highly recommended.

SteveG11 14th Jun 2020 | | Vinyl AlbumOwen Grey - Sings Hits Of '69 | ReviewThis was given to me when I was around 11 or 12. It was in the wrong sleeve and the artist is not printed on the label, so for many years I had no idea that it was Owen Gray.
I loved this album and played it to death for years, it was only after 2 Tone exploded that I delved into the ska goldmine properly, but this record was my first exposure to this music, which is why I rate it so highly. First loves and all that.
