steviebgoode SUBS 28th Jan 2022		Vinyl Album Charge [SRT] - Charge	Produced by Dave Richardson Simply insanely rare on the SRT label Re-issued on LP & CD by Kissing Spell in 1992 & 1994 respectively and again on CD by Wooden Hill in 2013. It's a absolute monster of psychedelic prog rock. The medley on side two is just superb. The album was pressed only in a very low quantity (probably less than ten) and used as a promo sent around to record companies looking for a commercial release which for whatever reason did not happen. There were no covers for the vinyl.
steviebgoode SUBS 28th Jan 2022		Vinyl Album Head [Scotland] - GTF	Head played a heavy jazz-rock/funk fusion style. Hard hitting but very popular among certain circles at the time. Commands a high mint value due to it's rarity and the fact that it's classed as a contemporary album as opposed to cabaret etc.

I've never heard it but I'm guessing the high prices are due to both the rarity (probably just 99 copies) and the quality of the musicianship. Can't afford an original so roll on any plans for a CD or download re-issue.
steviebgoode SUBS 11th Jan 2022		Vinyl Album The Melodians Steel Band - In The Mood For Dancing	A Calypso style Steel Band from the Midlands. An album of mostly well known standards Caribbean style but with a couple of self-penned tunes thrown in as well. Probably limited to somewhere between 99 - 250 copies made. The band were regulars at The Durham Ox Hotel, Six Hills, Leicestershire up to and around the release of the album.
