vidman45 24th May 2017		Vinyl Album Jimmie Rodgers - 15 Million Sellers	And you mis-spelled his last name on this posting. It is RODGERS (not Rogers). There have been several different artists with this name, and this adds to the confusion. The spelling is correct on the front and back cover.

vidman45 4th Oct 2016		CD Album The Lettermen - Capitol Collectors Series	Review When this excellent Capitol Collectors Series CD was issued in 1992, there was reportedly a dispute between the members of the group, and most copies of the CD's were released without the original 16 page booklet. I bought my copy on the day of release, and I got a rare copy with the booklet. I was not aware of this when I added this CD to 45 Worlds, and I omitted most of the booklet artwork at that time. vidman45 6th Jul 2016		Vinyl Album Rick Nelson - For You	A correction should be made to the title of this album because there were two different LP's issued at about the same time with the same title. Correct title for this Decca album is RICK NELSON SINGS "FOR YOU" (with the song title in quotes). Nelson's former label, Imperial, also released an album titled RICK NELSON SINGS FOR YOU (no quotation marks) (Imperial SE LP12251) to confuse buyers into buying their collection of older Nelson material. The hit song "For You" was not on the Imperial LP. The Imperial LP did not chart, and I don't see it posted here yet. The Decca LP was released on 4 January, 1964 and reached #14 on the Billboard album charts. Chart run 22 weeks. Moderator please make changes.

vidman45 10th Jan 2016		CD Album Joanie Sommers - Johnny Get Angry	Track #1 was billed as Edd Kookie Byrnes and Friend, and Joanie has never acknowledged being the "friend". I am curious as to who the couple is on the front cover. Does not look like Joanie to me. There is also a photo of a woman playing a guitar in the booklet that does not look much like Joanie. I feel that this release was not well researched.

I just received this CD, and found that no images have been been added. Contains 21 hits- 16 in stereo, many for the first time from newly-available tape sources. Compilation produced by Marty Wekser and Tom Diehl.
vidman45 7th Jan 2016		Vinyl Album Sam The Sham And The Pharaohs - Li'l Red Riding Hood	I remember some of those MGM LP's proclaiming "Sounds Great In Stereo", but when you get them home, all or most of the tracks are MONO or Re-channeled. MGM should have been taken to court for false claims to charge an extra dollar. Is the title song in stereo?

vidman45 24th Dec 2015		CD Album Various Artists - Shag: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack	A nod to RPFiller for adding this item. I have added 3 additional scans. Shag - The Movie! One of my favorite films, set in the last weekend of the summer of 1963, which also happened to be my summer between high school and college. This "soundtrack" has a great, but rather skimpy selection of only 10 songs from the movie. This inspired me to burn my own Expanded Soundtrack CD-R with 26 songs that appeared in the film.

vidman45 11th Nov 2015		Book H. Kandy Rohde - The Gold Of Rock & Roll, 1955-1967	I own a copy of this book. It has Top 50 charts for each year and Top 10 charts for every week from 1955 through 1967. But I don't believe that they credited the source of the charts (not Billboard or Cashbox). They only show Sonny James' version of "Young Love", and did not mention that Tab Hunter's cover version was just as big.
