I wonder whether anyone knows which independent plants pressed Blue Note records in the 1940s. There is another copy of this record on Discogs with Scranton Record Company markings (the anvil, in this case), and I've got other Blue Notes from this period with either the Scranton anvil or backwards S. However, my copy of BN 17 has neither of these and I'm curious to know where it was pressed.

BN 17 - 2nd label type added; orig. address with blue & white labels. - Also added a minor misprint of the A-side of this type (#2b): the first line of the credit and Israel Crosby's name are positioned too far to the left. Note also the misprinted credit on all copies of #3 A (Quarte).

Added images of a post-1942 repressing showing the 767 Lexington Ave. address.
