Denis247 28th Jun 2023		78 RPM Lonnie Donegan And His Skiffle Group - My Dixie Darling / I'm Just A Rollin' Stone (1957)	"My Dixie Darling" was recorded live at British Legion Drill Hall, Plymouth, reportedly in the Gents toilets for effects. The recording engineer was Joe Meek. I have no hard info on the 'B' side, but it may have been recorded at the same session.

"Joe Meek Society 8 January (2022) · "You may not know it but this well known hit was co-produced by Joe....... Pete." "I spoke to Craig Douglas just before Christmas and he confirmed that Joe was on the production with Bunny Lewis. Pete." "he remembers Joe crystal clear and had good words to say about him, Joe produced four of Craigs - First Love Affair, Only Sixteen, Golden Girl & Teenager In Love. Craig is 80 now and health has sadly declined (wheel chair bound) but his in good spirits " "All four were recorded at Lansdown Studios in 1959."
