Leo Soileau's Four Aces - My Brown Eyed Texas Rose / Red River Valley (1936)
De 5182 - label images of original issue added (should be moved up). In the 5000 series, this is the last release without the matrix on the label.

Milton Brown And His Brownies - Cheezy Breeze / Chinatown, My Chinatown (1935)
De 5166 - images added of 2nd edition, sunburst label with mx at 9. Labels added by 78-Ron are then the 3rd edition - should be rearranged.

Jay McShann - Swingmatism / Vine Street Boogie (1941)
De 8570 - original B-side ("Sepia") image added (#1), plus images of the repressing (#2) (the lesser quality upper A-side image can be hidden). Records coupling both label types are known (both A#1/B#2 and A#2/B#1), most likely pressed intentionally to use the remaining labels when the new type was introduced.

Mitchell's Christian Singers - Jesus Christ Of Nazareth / Blessed Are The Poor In Spirit (1938)
Voc 03235 - label images added. This record has "reused" number 03235; the original Vocalion 3235 is by Mal Hallett, released Jun 1936. Vocalion 03235 is listed in the Vocalion catalog supplement of December 1938 under 'Christmas Records' (see image).

Frankie Laine - In The Wee Small Hours / You're A Character, Dear (1945)
Bel-Tone 0255-0256 - images added of 1st & 2nd edition - cat.nr, track details & notes have to be corrected. I have images of 2 copies of the original release (with white label Beatty), which thus is as described below by slholzer & rubedoowop. But a later pressing/printing has red labels on both sides; images from archive, which also has the music (on archive, the link to the reverse is lower on the webpage). It seems that the record as advertised was never issued.

Mal Hallett - Let's Sing Again / The Glory Of Love (1936)
Voc 3235 - label images added. - The number 3235 was reused in December 1938 for 03235 by Mitchell's Christian Singers, a Christmas record.

Ernest Thompson - Little Brown Jug / How Are You Goin' To Wet Your Whistle? (1924)
Co 147-D - The record just added (...09/10) couples 2 label types, of which 10 is the earlier one (with © on the upper bottom line and the patent dates on the lower line), whereas 09 has these text lines reversed. Discogs has a similar copy, but with these types reversed, so Little Brown Jug has the earliest black label. The 13-2xRE labels are much later.

Big Bill - Play Your Hand / Somebody's Got To Go (1938)
Voc 03400 - Images & listing in Vocalion July 1938 catalog supplement (p.4) added. - 03400 is a reused number; number 3400 was used earlier for a Sharkey Bonano record, released Jan 1937. Voc 03400 is listed among the Race records "in demand" in the Voc catalog supplement for July 1938. It is a repressing of ("ARC") Perfect 8-04-56, recorded 13/21 Oct 1937 and released April 1938. The 8 new Race issues in this supplement are 04106-08/20-22/37-38. Vocalion 03400 was later repressed as OKeh 03400..

Bing Crosby - Some Of These Days / Let's Spend An Evening At Home (1938)
Voc 2869 - Maybe a monthly catalog supplement gives an indication. Did they reuse from 3500 on backwards, or from 3000 forwards? Or upwards from 3000 with country & blues only, and backwards for some general popular reissues (like Bing, Busse & McCoy)?

Blind Boy Fuller - Baby, I Don't Have To Worry ('Cause That Stuff Is Here) / Looking For My Woman (1938)
Vocalion - the lowest reused number appears to be 2830 (see ODP), but the reuse does not have the 0-prefix as it is not a country or blues recording. Number 02847 for Clyde McCoy is an error; the number on label is 2847, but these later issues can be easily recognized by the label type and by not having A/B sides (but you need a label image). Last known issue with A/B sides is 03051 (Blind Willie Johnson's Take Your Burden).

Louis Armstrong And His Sebastian New Cotton Club Orchestra - Just A Gigolo / Shine (1931)
OK 41486 - Of the (normal) Bridgeport pressings of this record 4 label types are known. I have added #1 AB, #2 B (Mike Gann added #2 A), #3 AB & #4 B (#4 A is on discogs). I assume that the first West Coast pressing was released at about the same time as the eastern version, and this already indicates that the original release is on small black label. When the 13-RE label type was replaced by the 2xRE type (referring to the patent legend at 5), the labels were black. New issues in the OK 40/41000 series with this type (2xRE small black) are 41370-41564. At the same time the registration legend below the OKeh logo was much shortened. The next type, starting with 41565 Clarence Williams, has small red labels with "Not licensed for Radio Broadcast" at 10. This license statement may be absent on some reprints. After a few issues a new red type starts with 41570, with Columbia instead of OKeh in the bottom line at 8, and the legend has a different font. 41588 is the last issue in this series. Before the 2xRE small black labels, there were ELECTRIC red labels with 13-23 patents (Jan '13-May '23 at 5). The last "red 13-23" in this series is 40851 (orig. issue of 40852 not seen; example is 40848 Miff Mole), and 40853 (Venuti) is black. The 40/41000 series remains black, while the 8000 & 45000 special series are red (!).

Rev. James Beard - Man's Ingratitude / Memory Of Departed Friends (1927)
Pm 12449 - label images added (B-side good; A-side bad). The B-side comes from a copy with damaged A-side (almost unreadable title), and this copy is also on discogs. I have added the photo of this A-side too, as it - if not trimmed - shows the numbers in the wax: control number 483 at 6 (on label & in runout) and matrix 4139-2 (not on label) in the runout at 12.
