(from the HMV Biography.) - So the date can be corrected. [Done. mod] - The Bolig-Milmo Celebrity Series discography mentions in the Contents the subject of each series. DJ is 10" reissues (general).

han enderman 21st Jun 2024		78 RPM Edmond Clement And Marcel Journet - Au Fond Du Temple Saint / O Viens, Mon Doux Berger (1924)	HMV DK-105 - The HMV 1928 catalogue lists many Caruso recordings in the DA/DB-series, but also as early issues in other series, like DJ-100, DK-103, DM/DO/DQ-100. Caruso is listed in the "Red Label Section: A Library of Great Music, performed by Artists of International Fame". "This Section contains all (Double-/Single-sided) Celebrity Records" issued up to and including 31-12-1927. Then follows a list of these "International Celebrity Artists". Thus the DK series is only one of the special series. Last section of the 1928 cat is "Catalogue No. 2: Records of Unique and Historic Interest", which includes "many famous figures" in recordings "from early days" with recording dates from 1900-1922 (including Churchill speeches). HMV DK-105 is included with dates 1912/1915. So the intention of so many small opera series is not yet clear, but these are domestic releases. These series also occur on Italian Disco Grammofono (are these the original issues?).

Probably there are 3 label variants, just as described for 101. The original labels (#1), with the titles in lower case, are in discogs. Composer P.D. Vich mentioned on #1, Gabor on #2. This #2 A-side has the title in narrow font, and thus is similar to 101 #3.

This is the original issue (#1). Note that #1 mentions composer P.D. Vich, who is replaced on variant #2 by Arr. D.H. Gabor. And then I saw that the images on archive (where the music can be heard) are a 3rd variant, with the upper case titles in narrow font, and with B-side composer V. Horton (can you follow it?).

But the uncommon composer's name can be read. We see here that when a record is really rare, a seller makes only one problematic picture or two bad ones.

Or Victor used it to mail the correct records from its magazines. - The cross index mentions records with the same tune.

They are occasionally found with other labels and then omit the ☆Licensed Brunswick Dealer☆ statement. The ad also indicates the A/B order, I think, which if I'm correct can be corrected.

han enderman 14th Jun 2024		78 RPM Louis Armstrong And His Hot Five - Gut Bucket Blues / Yes! I'm In The Barrel (1926)	OK 8261 - This is the first record issued under Armstrong's name. An image of a 1-sided OKeh test of the B-side was published by Jas Obrecht in Victrola & 78 Journal 4 p.15 (all 13 nrs of this 1990s magazine are on archive). Late 2005 the record was auctioned by Obrecht and I saved his scan and description. As the information is not elsewhere available, I have added it here. - Remarkable that all reissues of this OK are dubs (as shown in Rust).
