George Formby - All Going Back / In The Congo (1929)
My copy of this 'cream label' version has both sides take 2. I think the cream and red label versions use the same takes. It's probably because the red label specifies take 2, while the cream label doesn't include a take number that has led to the statement that they are different. However, I would be delighted to be proved wrong and discover that there are two new Formby alternative takes that I haven't heard!

George Formby - With My Little Ukulele In My Hand / As The Hours, And The Days, And The Weeks, And The Months, And The Years Roll By (1933)
This first version of With My Little Ukulele In My Hand was considered to be too rude and was withdrawn. It was recorded again with slightly altered lyrics and given the shorter name My Ukulele. After the withdrawal, As The Hours... was given a new coupling.

Was this shellac or vinyl (with clicks and hiss added)?

Date given above does not seem to be accurate. The piece of music was not completed until 1944. The CD reissue gives a publication date of 1947.
