Nobby_Music FrmCov. 28th Nov 2024		78 RPM Johnny Standley - It's In The Book (Pt. 1) / It's In The Book (Pt. 2) (1952)	I bought this 78 in mint condition for my mum's birthday back in 2008. I got it 2 months before mum's birthday. It cost me a pretty packet. My mum bought this 78 when was in the record shops back in 1952. As a get well gift for my gran. Sadly my mum never got this 78 for her birthday. Were I had it stored with my collection of vinyl LP's. I forgot it was with amongst them. One night while I was searching through them to play a certain LP. When I pushed the LP's back. I heard a mighty crack. It was the 78 I bought for my mum. I was never able to replace it. If I could replace it. I would not be able to give it to our mum now as a birthday present. As mum passed away nearly 10 years ago.
Nobby_Music FrmCov. 5th Jan 2024		78 RPM Frank Chacksfield - Ebb Tide / Waltzing Bugle Boy (1953)	My dear mum used to own this 78. I do not know what happened to it. This is the only record I used to cry a lot to whenever mum played it when I was a very young boy. I am reminiscing on here. Looking at the 78s my dear mum once owned. Of those I can remember.
