Pat-452 7th Mar 2023		78 RPM Cherry Wainer - Valencia / Blue Cha Cha (1958)	This a vinyl 10 inch 78 ... not a Shellac one. I think vinyl 78s were introduced in 1958 by the Pye Group. Labels I have seen are Pye Nixa (pink) and Mercury (turquoise). Philips also pressed some vinyl 10 inch 78s as demos with white labels as opposed to the normal blue. As far As I know, all Philips 'straight' 78 rpm issues were shellac.

Pat-452 17th Feb 2023		78 RPM Pat Boone - White Christmas / Jingle Bells (1957)	Lovely version of Irving Berlin's White Christmas... definitely one of the very best on record. Great rockin' version of Jingle Bells on the flip side too.
