Biography - Aco Australia Made by the Vocalion Gramophone Company Ltd., production of Australian Aco records began in November, 1927. Along with the UK G-15000 catalogue series, a new GA-20000 series was created. These ran along-side each other until 1928. It seems in mid 1928 the label was dropped, with focus being shifted to the new Broadcast label. Prices were reduced from the original price of 3/6 to 3/- at the start of November, 1927. This lasted until June, 1928, when prices were reduced to 1/6, and a month later were reduced again to just 1/3.
