Biography - Broadcast ![]() 8" Broadcast records were introduced, in Australia, in May, 1928. They could play for as long as an ordinary 10" record. Along with the UK 100 catalogue series, a new BA series was also used. DISCOGRAPHY A generic date range of release can be found at www.78rpm.net.nz. 100 8" Series This series used the UK catalogue series. Starting at 100, it reached 466 by about January, 1930. Whilst most are identical to their UK release, some couplings were changed. BA 8" Series This series was released along-side the 100 series. It started at BA.1, and finsihed up around BA.134. X 8" Series Identical to the UK Christmas series.
