Biography - Broadcast New Series

The Broadcast new Series were a range of 8" discs which were originally sold for 6d. There were only 29 in the series, with numbers running from 1000 - 1028 inclusive. They were manufactured by Crystalate, using mainly Eclipse and some Broadcast matrices, and appear to be the last discs with the word " Broadcast " as part of the name. The exact date of their release is not known, although they are mentioned in " Worlds Fair " for August / Sept. 1937, but probably date from before this.
