Biography - Broadcast Twelve Australia In early February, 1929, the new 10-inch Broadcast Twelve label was introduced. They could play for as long as an ordinary 12" record, hence the name, and were composed of "popular classics". The label name was changed to Broadcast De Luxe in September, 1929. DISCOGRAPHY Although a generic date range of release can be found at www.78rpm.net.nz, they were only released in 1929. 5000 10" Series This series was identical to the UK Broadcast Twelve 5000 series. It started at 5001, and finished up around 5074. A.1000 10" Series There are three known records released in this series: A.1000, A.1001 and A.1002. A.1000 was released in June, and the other two in July.
