Biography - Coronet    Australia

When EMI acquired US Capitol in 1955, ARC lost their flagship label: Capitol. They soon purchased the rights to US Columbia and started releasing their new flagship label, Coronet, in February 1956.

The label is most known for it's octagonal label - a feature that continued into the mid '60s.

KK 10" Series

Children's series. Came with picture sleeves.

KW 10" Series

Coronet Western Series introduced March 1957.
