Biography - Crystalate 
UK
British label that released 12" records in a Z-100 series for only a few months in 1932. It was owned by The Crystalate Gramophone Record Manufacturing Co. Ltd., which itself was founded in 1928 as a subsidiary of the British plastics maker The Crystalate Manufacturing Company Ltd. At the time, that company was pressing records for several British labels (Eclipse, Imperial, Kiddyphone, Rex). Before the year was over, they decided to switch the Crystalate label's output to the Imperial label.
