Currys are a British high street chain store. They originally started as a bicycle manufacturer and retailer, but expanded into electrical goods.

The earliest Curry records, from ca. 1911, were "Bell" and "Winner" masters pressed by Edison Bell. A second series on a yellow label with black letters (Nr. 1-above 100), pressed by Crystalate, was made between 1919-1921. A third series, on a black label with yellow letters (Nr. 1-ca. 350), ran from 1921-1929 and used masters from Grammavox, Popular, Imperial, and the American Record Corporation.
