Biography - Derby Germany German budget label, existing from 1926-1932. First releases, jointly produced by Grammophon, Odeon (Lindström), Homocord, and Vox were 10" discs with a brown label (1926-1928), with prefixes that indicated the company that had recorded the matrix: G, H, O or V. The later 8-inch Derby records, produced by Lindström and Grammophon fro early 1929, used only the prefixes D.O. (Odeon) and G (Grammophon) and had a light blue label.
