Billboard announced September 04 1948...Ex-Musicraft employee Albert Marx will head the newly formed Discovery Records in Hollywood.
November 1951 Marx sold the label to Vernon Brown
January 1952 label files for bankruptcy
May 1952 Jack Bergman buys the Label and releases Art Pepper sides - labels bear New York address
In 1953 Albert Marx begins Trend Records
December 1956 Herman Lubinsky buys what is left of the assets of Discovery
