Biography - Duophone UK British label active from 1925-1930, began releasing 12"- and 10" records (A-1000 & B-1000 series) in Oct. 1925. From Nov. 1926, gold and black label colors promoted the new "unbreakable" Duophone Record. The D-4001ff. series (8/1928 -) featured American dance bands recorded by Brunswick.
