Biography - Folkraft USA Frank Kaltman ran Folkraft Records, a Division of K-W Record Corp., from 1946, first from 7 Oliver St., Newark, N.J. By 1955, the company had relocated to 1159 Broad Street, also in Newark. As late as 1958, Kaltman still preferred 78 rpm discs due to the floor vibration caused by large dancing groups although the label had been releasing 45 rpm and LPs for several years. In 1958, he bought the Stereo tape library of Livingston Audio Products. Stereo albums were planned on a new label named Janus as well as on pre-recorded tape. « Discography Edit This Biography : Biography Credits
