Lake Charles, LA. Owned by Eddie Shuler along with his main Goldband label; active from 1949. Not to be confused with two contemporary labels bearing the same name, Jim Stanton's Folk-Star out of Johnson City, TN, and its successor, Folk Star Records out of Campbellsville, KY.

Owned by Eddie Shuler along with his main Goldband label. Began in 1949 as did Jim Stanton's Folk-Star label in Tennessee...both labels are listed in Billboard in 1952
