Biography - Goodson 
UK
Short lived UK label (full ID : The Goodson Gramophone Record Co.,London England) producing records from between Feb 1929 and December 1931.
Made 10" 78's using a white opaque celluloid called "Rhodoid" ("non-flammable/non-flam").
Because there was no central paper label,the entire surface could be used for printed messages/advertisements,consequently,custom records were made for retailers,including...Wellsbach Lamps/Henley's/British Washer Soap,and,most notably,Boots The Chemists (mainly Italian classical/US crooners)
(When Goodson's went broke in the 30's,Boots switched to Sound Distributors,the successor of Durium Products (Slough).
