Label Story
Lionel Hampton's own label run by his wife Gladys and was reliant on the Musicraft company for distribution.
Hamp-Tone suffered badly during Musicraft's economic decline in the late 1940's.
September 1949 Billboard reported that Gladys had sold all her 80 masters to the new International label being started by Sammy Lane
