Biography - Hot Wax USA Detroit, MI label founded by local music store owner Edward Kiely in cooperation with jukebox supplier Buhl Sons Co. around 1940 and releasing hillbilly novelty and hillbilly blues by local country & western bands. Many Hot Wax releases were reissued by its successor Mellow Records.
