Label Bio
Started November 1946 by Jack Beekman, Danny Winkler and Artie Wayne mainly to showcase Artie Waynes releases. First release in December- 1001 "Sleepy Baby"
During 1947 the label became involved in the United Artist deal when the newly formed UA label took masters from many small independent Wear Coast companies releasing and attempting to distribute on a more professional level.
The deal didn't work out and UA lost money and gave all masters back to their member affiliates.
November 1947 ..Money man Oscar Salenger "Reactivated" Hucksters and became part owner with plans to broaden the artist repertoir
