Biography - International Record Collectors' Club USA Reissue label dedicated to early opera recordings, the first of its kind in the United States, founded by William H. Seltsam of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Active from March, 1932, through 1954. Early releases were from metal stampers, later issues were dubbed from shellac records. Each record was pressed in limited numbers, and early releases were often numbered.
