Biography - Keynote USA Label Story Began 1941 recording specialised Folk and Worldmusic and Jazz. In 1947, Keynote's Board of Directors included John Hammond and Paul Robeson with Eric Bernay who eventually sold his stock to Hammond and announced that they were expanding their artist roster to include other types of music than just Jazz.
