German label, founded by the Lindström A.G. and active from 1910-1945.
Matrix numbers
Apart from its own recordings, Parlophon also issued ones made by the older British Parlophone label and by several U.S. American brands (Columbia, which had acquired the Lindström in 1926, and its client labels OKeh/ U.S. Odeon, Brunswick, and Vocalion). Several of Parlophon's red label issues were the same as on Lindström's main label, Odeon, except they used a Parlophon matrix numbers and often released variant takes not used by Odeon.
