Biography - Sonora Swing    Sweden

Sonora was also a pioneering brand when it came to record pure jazz, and in 1936 it launched a special "Swing-label" for this repertoire. They also managed to get major international stars who visited Sweden to make recordings for the company, including Benny Carter, Valaida Snow and Nat Gonella.
The Red and Black label was used up to 1940 with "Swing Series" added to the triangle and a boxed series number added. A specially designed Yellow and Black label followed
