Budget mail-order label started in 1955 in the UK by a Boston lawyer, Manuel Kopelman.
Related to the Cameo (Canada) and Solitaire (UK) labels
This label was apparently started in the UK by Manuel Kopelman who retail his disk for 13/6. As a label for sound alike version of hits, it appears to be related to the Cameo (Canada and Solitaire (UK). As with the Top of the Pops LPs of the 60s and 70s it was home to at least one big star in his first days, that being Matt Monro
