Biography - Victor Canada "His Master's Voice" often appears on Canadian records together with the label name "Victor", but usually in a smaller font. It is not a label name like "Victor", but a trademark of the Berliner Gramophone Co. Ltd. of Canada. Only in early 1924, Victor acquired Berliner's company, renamed it "The Victor Talking Machine Company of Canada" and made the Victor name more prominent on an altered label. In the Spring of 1925, Victor introduced their "Orthophonic" electrically-recorded records, marking them with the (V.E.) logo in an oval and the phrase Orthophonic on the left of the label. https://www.capsnews.org/apn1982-1.htm https://www.capsnews.org/apn1982-2.htm https://www.capsnews.org/apn1982-3.htm « Discography Edit This Biography : Biography Credits
