Cy Leslie began producing childrens records on Voco greeting cards with a recorded message in 1946. April 1950 Billboard reported that Voco had filed for bankrupcy mentioning that their product is mainly sold in Department Store Toy Counters.
An address is still being listed in July 1951 in Billboard as 1674 Broadway NY.
Leslie began the Cricket label and produced kiddie records as part of his Pickwick group with great success.
