Hans Bodenstedt - BiographyHans Bodenstedt (1887-1958) created the first radio show for children on German radio. As the artistic director of NORAG (Nordischer Rundfunk AG - Northern Radio Inc.), the predecessor of today's Norddeutscher Rundfunk, he started producing a daily radio show for children, the "Funkheinzelmann Stunde" (Radio Pixie Hour), in 1924, playing the role of narrator himself. The modern fairy tales he broadcast were also published on records and in book form.
