J. C. Scatter - BiographyJ C Scatter was the pseudonym of James Cosgrove born at Byker to the east of Newcastle upon Tyne. In 1908, he was the first person to record the "Blaydon Races" - written by Geordie Ridley in 1862 - and in 1929 recorded a version on the Imperial label.
