Played with Vincent Lopez, Vernon Country Club Orchestra, Sam Lanin (recording as Bailey's Lucky Seven for Gennett), for Pathé with the Don Parker Trio, the Lucas Novelty Quartet and the Lucas Ukulele Trio. In 1922, he recorded the first guitar solo ever for Pathé.
