Collection 687
Wishlist 75

Collecting since the mid 70’s, I have a broad taste in Rock/Pop music ranging from 40’s Hillbilly to 70’s Punk & beyond. But specifically Rockabilly, RNR, RNB and British Beat. Mostly 45’s but also some EP’s, 78’s, sheet music & postcards. Favourite artists include Eddie Cochran, Wanda Jackson, Ronnie Self, early Stones, Creedence, Dr Feelgood, Ramones and Jam. As well as UK originals, I buy US Rockabilly originals & early repros. Plus foreign issues of any RNR not issued in the UK. Favourite labels include Belgium Ronnex & Moonglow, Dutch Artone, Oz/NZ Coronet as well as issues from Scandinavia, South Africa, Germany & Canada. I like any unusual UK labels & over the years have bought all kinds of oddities. Best find which I paid proper money for was the Mac Curtis 45 on Parlophone. Best rarity for no money was the David Hill on UK Vogue. Made a few mistakes along the way either overpaying (US repros for original prices) or missing good buys. Notably, a Beatles Gold Stereo LP at the local car book for £2! It’s a long story. Find most items for my collection as well as lots of bargains at UK record fairs & Utrecht. Also a few UK record shops. And buy odd things at Car Boots & online. My collection is constantly evolving & as such I sell a few items on Ebay over the winter & also stand at a couple of fairs. Can highly recommend MrC’s Luton fairs for 50/60’s 45’s & Utrecht for the ‘WTF’ experience. I never lose the thrill of looking through records & always ready to talk records/music. I have an understanding wife who is also a collector of lots of things - but not records. Lastly can anyone help with my wish list? Many thanks.

Mac Curtis - You Ain't Treatin' Me Right / The Low Road
As far as I'm aware the demo's are only single sided. I have both. I have never seen or heard of a 2 sided demo of this release.

Eddie Cochran - Three Steps To Heaven / Cut Across Shorty
I believe 10 Test pressings were made for each issue. I have one for this Eddie Cochran issue and the RNR Trio issue.

Ronnie Self - Bop-A-Lena / Ain't Im A Dog
I can't believe it got played over here. As you can see I'm a fan. There is a rumour that it was also issued on a UK jukebox 45 or as a demo only 45. But no one has ever seen a copy?

Glenn Reeves - Drinkin' Wine Spo-Dee-O-Dee / Rockin' Country Style
Does anyone know if this was issued on New Zealand London 45?
