Long-time vinyl collector. I have acquired many 1000s, although to keep costs down, everything doesn't have to be mint or even of the best condition.

I joined to get info not otherwise easliy available, e.g. cataloguing and dates for 78s. I have just bought a cheap modern Bush Classic player which has allowed me to play my 78s through my sound system - and the result is magic, I don't know why I didn't do it years ago (probably becuase I was happy enough with just my 33s and 45s).

I will try and contribute to the site with reviews, especially of 78s as it looks like the site could do with more of these.

My music interests are very wide across all genres but I think the 60's has the highest hit rate of quality, and the warm sound of 60s analogue production is just irresistable!

It's a fantastic site, very well done to the organisers.
