Mark Warnow was the older brother of bandleader Raymond Scott (born Harry Warnow). Mark was a mainstay at CBS radio for many years, as the network's musical director and conductor of the "Your Hit Parade" orchestra. Warnow also arranged and conducted for Frank Sinatra while he was on the Columbia Records roster, which at the time was owned by CBS. Warnow died on October 17, 1949 at the age of 49.

The Lyn Murray Singers were the featured vocal group on "Your Hit Parade" . The London-born Murray (real name: Lionel Breeze) also conducted, arranged and produced material for such Columbia Records stars as Louis Armstrong, Bing Crosby and Burl Ives. Murray also scored numerous Hollywood films and television programs, eventually winning an Emmy for his work for National Geographic's special "Miraculous Machines." He succumbed to cancer at the age of 79 on April 29, 1989.
