Charlie Chalk 13th Dec 2017		It may simply be a play on words. As you say, the two words are very similar.



slholzer 18th Mar 2017		This is an oddly named label. It is highly unlikely that at any time in its history (or pre-history) Jamaica enjoyed the presence of such a thing as a caribou. I sincerely doubt that most Jamaicans even know what a caribou is, as witness the fact that nothing remotely resembling one is depicted on the label. Perhaps somebody thought that there must be some kind of philological connection between caribou and Caribbean.
