W.B.lbl 14th Jul 2015		This would have been 1949, based on the subject matter of the A side; the little girl had fallen into a well in San Marino, CA, on April 8, 1949, and was found dead after a massive rescue attempt some two nights later. The live coverage of the attempted rescue and revelation that the 3-year-old was dead put Los Angeles TV station KTLA (Channel 5) and the reporter on the scene, Stan Chambers (who died on Feb. 23, 2015 at age 91), on the map. 38 years later, a little girl named Jessica McClure who had likewise fallen into a well, was far more fortunate in her fate.
