I should have mentioned previously that there is another variation to be found in this disc, this time affecting both sides at one time or another. On the version that reads The Dinghy Song, you will see that the composer credit is to Wallis (that is Ruth Wallis, the singer). On the Dhingy Song version, the composer credit is to Howard, a song writer with frequent credits in the race market of that day, who also has the credit for the flip side tune, "Tonight You Sleep In the Bathtub on the Dinghy Song version shown here. Interestingly, my label database shows a variant of the flip side credited not to Howard but to Wallis.I can't speak to when it happened or whether it happened concurrently with the Dinghy Song switch, and I don't know which name switched to which, although I would think Howard switched to Wallis on The Dinghy Song side when they corrected the mis-spelled title. I just know that there are flip sides out there credited to both of them. Theoretically, it is possible to have as many as 4 different versions of this disc if each Dinghy Side label variant is available in a pairing with each flip side variant. That wouldbe just too weird, though.

For label variant collectors, there are are two versions of this disc. On one version, The Dinghy Song is spelled as it is on the illustrated sample. On the other, the title is spelled The Dhingy Song.
