Copyrights on gospel songs seem to often be up for grabs and authorship disputed. I'm not sure what happened here. Both sides are attributed to Armo Music (King/Federal affiliate) on the labels wth composers Anderson & Warren but neither song was copyrighted by Armo in 1951. In February 1952, Father Alone was copyrighted by Lois Music (King's flagship publishing imprint) and attributed to Purcell Perkins:
