Personnel:
Charlie Spivak, Mannie Klein (trumpets), Sterling Bose (trumpet, vocal); Glenn Miller (trombome, arranger), Jesse Ralph, Harry Rogers (trombone); Hal McIntyre (clarinet, alto sax, arranger), George Siravo (alto sax, arranger), Jerry Jerome, Carl Biesecker (tenor sax); Howard Smith (piano); Dick McDonough (guitar); Ted Kotsoftis (bass); George T. Simon (drums).
Vocalists: Doris Kerr, Sterling Bose (And The Tune Twisters (trio including Jack Lathrop)

Recorded on March 22, 1937 in the Decca studios in New York City. Two of six sides recorded during the three-hour session.

Lathrop would reappear in Miller's later aggregation primarily as a guitarist but providing occasional vocals.

 Although one wouldn't know it from the rather forgettable "Wistful And Blue", which Ruth Etting co-wrote, she was a much sought-after star of radio, stage, movies and recordings during the 1920s-'30s. More information on her quite interesting life may be found here.
