cyeaman SUBS 26th Dec 2022		My copy of Rust's Jazz Records (the Mainspring Press edition from 2002, p. 242) shows the Ramblers had an October 2, 1923 session in which they recorded 3 songs, including this one. The other two ("Mama Loves Papa, Papa Loves Mama" and "You Darling You") were issued on PatheActuelle 036001/Perfect 14182. This information is confirmed in "The Pathe-Perfect Discography-Vol.2", pp. 43-44 by Allan Sutton, William Bryant and The Record Research Associates. The citation in that book states "band identification and date are from Ed Kirkeby's log".



Mike Gann 25th Dec 2022		I didn't find this release in Rust's Jazz Records and so far I haven't been able to identify the group. Of course if I'm wrong and you have a way to correct me, I'll be glad to make the edit.
